This cam is inspired by an idea I have that we will probably see happen in the near future. Wouldn't it be cool to have a High Definition camera with high speed satellite transmission hooked to a wall mount HD TV so that you could have a real-time, streaming virtual window to another place in the world?

This webcam is created using a 15 year old Sony Handycam video camera, Pinnacle DVC80
analog-to-digital external device connected to the computer with a USB connection
driven by the free version of VisionGS webcam software.
